Curtis Granderson extended his career-high 15-game hitting streak by showcasing his speed and baserunning. In the Tigers 7-1 win over the Colorado Rockies yesterday, Grandy went 4-for-5 with 2 triples, a stolen base, and scored 3 of the Tigers runs.
Curtis' hitting streak puts his batting average just below the .300 mark at .294. Ian of Bless You Boys writes, "Over those 15 games, Granderson is hitting .443 (27-for-61). He's 8-for-10 in the last two days." Very impressive!
Granderson's slugging percentage of .500 tops everyone in the Tigers' starting lineup.
