Curtis hit his third homer in six games to help power the Tigers past the Yankees with a 6-4 win. I know six games isn't a good sample size but considering the power the he exhibited in spring training, his bat is developing more pop. Maybe my view is a bit foggy... somebody tell me how many homers Grandy has in spring training. Didn't he have quite a bit? Does anybody else think he has more pop (so far) in 2008?
Developing more power was something that he worked on in the offseason... adding more weight and muscle. It seems to have worked out beautifully. Grandy power!
