Injury Bunny visits Granderson this Easter

Oh no! Curtis has a broken finger! He will have to spend the first week of the regular season in the DL.

The prognosis, Dombrowski said, calls for Granderson to wear a splint on the finger for about two weeks, after which he should be cleared to resume baseball activity. From there, the hope is that he won't need much time to get back up to speed and be ready to return to the lineup. By placing him on the DL retroactive to March 23, he'll be eligible to come off after the first week of games.

Here's more on the injury from Danny Knobler.
